To exercise the rights described above, you can either:

Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may submit a request related to your Personal Information. You may also submit a request on behalf of your minor child.

Please note that we are not required to respond to your requests "to know" or access specific pieces of Personal Information more than twice in any 12-month period.

Your request must:

  1. Provide sufficient information to allow us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected Personal Information or an authorized representative, which may include:
    • For non-sensitive information with a low risk of harm: Matching at least two data points you provide with information we hold.
    • For sensitive information with a high risk of harm: Matching at least three pieces of Personal Information you provide with Personal Information we hold.
    • A signed declaration under penalty of perjury from you stating that you are the consumer whose Personal Information is the subject of the request.
  2. Describe your request with sufficient detail to allow us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

An authorized agent may initiate a request on your behalf using the submission methods described above. As part of our verification process, we will require proof concerning their status as an authorized agent, which may include proof of their registration with the California Secretary of State to conduct business in California and/or proof that they have power of attorney in accordance with California probate law. We may also require you to verify your identity directly with us or directly confirm with us that you provided the agent with permission to submit the request.

We cannot respond to your request or provide you with Personal Information if we cannot verify your identity (or an agent's authority to make the request) and confirm the Personal Information relates to you.

Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us.

We will only use Personal Information provided in a request to verify the requestor's identity or authority to make the request.

Our Response and Its Format

We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time, up to forty-five (45) additional days (or ninety (90) days total), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

We will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option.

Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request's receipt date. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your Personal Information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information to another entity without hindrance.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights under the CCPA. Specifically, unless permitted by law, we will not:

  • Deny you goods or services;
  • Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties;
  • Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services; or
  • Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.

Your Personal Information "Sales" Opt-Out and Opt-In Rights

Under the CCPA, some of the Personal Information disclosures described above may be considered a "sale." If you are a California resident who is 16 years of age or older, you have the right to direct us to not "sell" your Personal Information at any time. We do not "sell" the Personal Information of consumers we actually know are less than 16 years of age, unless we receive affirmative authorization from the consumer who is at least 13 but not yet 16 years of age.
