Open Hearts: A Collaboration with Pat Milbery to Inspire Community and Connection

We’re stoked to announce that our collaboration insoles with artist, snowboarder, and all-around ripping human, Pat Milbery are officially here! The 'Open Hearts' insoles are designed on the Destin. Get a closer look at the insoles and learn a little more about Pat below.

“Pat Milbery’s artistic odyssey is a powerful testament to the resilience of the human spirit, the impact of connection, and the transformative influence of nature on mental health,” Heartspace Studios mention on their website.

“In the face of personal adversity, Pat turned to the invigorating world of snowboarding, finding solace and joy amidst the majestic Rocky Mountains. As a Professional Snowboarder immersed in the freestyle culture of the 1990s, he not only conquered slopes but also recognized disparities in accessibility within the sport. Responding with audacious determination, Pat pioneered a transformative snowboard camp, making the exhilarating experience accessible to all, thereby extending the culture of acceptance far and wide.”

Pat’s enthusiasm for life is really something to admire. His energy is absolutely infectious and you just can’t help but smile and feel fired up when you’re talking with him. We’re thrilled to release these super special insoles, and not just because they look rad and ooze comfort—it’s all for a much, much bigger cause.

“Pat’s advocacy for environmentalism and mental health is woven into the fabric of his work. Recognizing the therapeutic effects of time spent in nature on mental health and happiness, he has not only created art but also inspired communities to embrace the healing power of the outdoors,” Heartspace Studios mentions. Tacking on, “Communities and individuals fortunate enough to engage with Pat are forever enriched, their spirits lifted by his infectious passion to make nature, sport and art accessible to all.”

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. Yeah, Pat! Get a closer look at the insoles here.
